BF Musketeer
Dell - just arrived from W. Memphis. Billy, his littermate will be arriving within the next couple of weeks. He is a Special Needs guy in that he has tested positive for a mild case of heartworms. This is the second track greyhound in the past six months that has tested postive. We have asked about this and have been told that the trainers on the farm do not have the money to properly care for the greyhounds they are training. This is another sign of the declining racing industry coupled with a down economy. Rescued Racers will pay for his heartworm treatment. We will be glad to explain the treatment to anyone interested in adopting him. He loves to play with stuffies. He loves to play tug-of-war with his foster greyhound sister. They run around the yard together and have a great time. He is also a people hound. He is very sweet and likes to spend time with people just hanging out and enjoying their company.
