Drinkin Bacardi
Bacardi - just arrived from a TX Blood Donor program. He is a very active and silly boy. Everytime we tried to take his picture he would close his eyes! Someone forgot to tell him he's 8 years old; he still thinks he's a pup! There's something especially sad about an 8 year old dog who's done nothing his whole life but live in a cage making money for people - first by pushing his young body literally to the breaking point while racing, and then by being bled for years while known only as #16. Finally, Bacardi has an opportunity to start a new life as a loving companion. And really, who could deserve a soft bed and a kind hand more than an dog who's given everything and received nothing?
