ICU Kayla Kay
Kayla - has been in a home for 5 years and has been returned along with Toby, Smooch and Spirit due to family changes. She is a wonderful girl and is very friendly. She has lived along with greys, IGs, boxers, a cocker spaniel, and cats with no problems. She loves to run in the yard and still likes to play. Kayla does require daily eye drops. An update from her foster family after Kayla received a much needed dental: She’s doing really well & we’ve really seen a change in her personality this week. She is much happier & more playful – even playing with toys for the first time since we’ve had her. Her tail wags all the time & she doesn’t shy away when you go to pet her, in fact, she’s even coming up to us asking to be petted. The ulcers in her mouth are almost all gone & she’s finished all her antibiotics and pain pills.
One thing though – she does not want to do stairs. We all went upstairs & tried to coax her up but she just sat & cried. We may try to get her up / down stairs again now that she’s feeling better.
