Marti - just arrived from a TX Blood Donor program. She is on the shy side and wasn't quite sure what was going on. She is a very sweet lady. There's something especially sad about a dog who's done nothing her whole life but live in a cage making money for people - first by pushing her young body literally to the breaking point while racing, and then by being bled for years while known only as a number. Finally, Martinez has an opportunity to start a new life as a loving companion. And really, who could deserve a soft bed and a kind hand more than an dog who's given everything and received nothing?
