Merlin

Merlin - just arrived from Guam. He is one of the over 200 greyhounds abandoned by the racetrack when it decided to close. The dogs were living in horrific conditions but groups in the U.S. many are going to loving homes.

His first foster mom in the States writes, "He likes marshmallows. He's friendly and happy. He doesn't walk on a leash so well when he first gets outside, but will be a perfect gentleman once you've gone a few steps and he settles down.

He likes to be scratched under his collar, and on both of his back legs. You can tell you've hit the spot when he stretches his neck forward and squints his eyes up. He really is a great boy, and very silly - I'm sure you will have no problem finding him a home."

He is cat-correctable. He was afraid of our assertive cat but might be too interested in a kitty that would run from him. He is OK with medium to large size dogs. He is too interested in small dogs.
